Mobilizing Research and Evidence: Enhancing Collaboration Between Researchers and Policymakers
Through the Jordan Education Strategic Research (JESR) project, QRF has championed efforts to bridge the gap between university-based researchers and policymakers. The project fosters collaboration on education policy by encouraging researchers at public and private universities to engage in meaningful dialogue with the Ministry of Education.
Key Achievements in JESR:
- National Steering Committee: Formed with 20 members from leading universities (University of Jordan, Yarmouk University, Hashemite University, and Mutah University) and the Ministry of Education, this committee guides strategic research efforts.
- First Research Forum: Organized for 60 participants, including faculty members, PhD, and Masters students, to share insights and align research efforts with policy priorities.
Promoting Policy-Relevant Research: By identifying critical themes and research questions, the JESR project is enabling evidence-based solutions to education challenges in Jordan.
