Al- Karak, July 28th – The President of Mu'tah University, Dr. Salama Al-Nai'mat, discussed today, Sunday, during his meeting with the Executive Director of the Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development, Mr. Basem Sa'ad, ways to enhance research and training cooperation between the university, the foundation, and the Ministry of Education, aimed at developing educational research.
The discussion included ways to strengthen institutional collaboration among partners to implement the Queen Rania Foundation’s project, which aims to activate research partnerships between universities, the Ministry of Education, and the private sector, as well as to establish a permanent framework for consultation and coordination to improve the quality of educational research and align it with the priorities and research needs of the public and private sectors.
Al-Nai'mat emphasized the university's interest in establishing effective partnerships with institutions seeking to improve educational outcomes and the quality of educational research, focusing on applied research that addresses educational challenges and issues and enhances the educational process.
For his part, Sa'ad stated that the foundation aims to implement a partnership project that seeks to increase the participation of educational researchers from public and private universities in Jordan in research topics related to educational policies, enhance the research relationship between universities and the Ministry of Education in the field of educational research, and involve university researchers in capacity-building activities through experiential learning. This will include offering a series of short training courses for university researchers and members of the research team from the Ministry of Education, as well as organizing forums and discussion sessions that bring together university researchers and educational policymakers.
