The Jordan Ahli Bank renewed the strategic partnership agreement with the Queen Rania Foundation for a period of 3 years, from 2024 to 2026. The agreement was signed on behalf of the bank by CEO/General Manager Dr. Ahmed Al-Hussein, and on behalf of the foundation by CEO Mr. Basem Saad.
According to this partnership, the Jordan Ahli Bank will continue its support for the Children’s Museum Jordan, one of the initiatives of the Queen Rania Foundation. It maintains its exclusive sponsorship of the bank's exhibits at the museum, which it has supported since 2007, and backs all related activities. These exhibits are among the most popular with museum visitors, annually attracting over 100,000 children and their companions. Additionally, the agreement includes the release of the second booklet in the "Financial Culture for Children" series, production of three educational videos on financial literacy through social media, launching the fifth edition of the reading competition, and introducing an interactive screen aimed at providing advice and knowledge to children regarding their purchasing decisions.
The agreement also includes support for initiatives of the Queen Rania Foundation. In 2024, Jordan Ahli Bank will sponsor the "Hand in Hand Towards Empowering Women in Jordan" program in collaboration with the Jordan River Foundation. This program aims to tackle unemployment issues, empower women in the workforce with necessary skills and resources, enhance their economic independence, and contribute to comprehensive development in Jordan. The program benefits 20 women directly and 112 beneficiaries indirectly through their families.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Hussein commented on the partnership: "We are pleased to renew our partnership with the Queen Rania Foundation, which reflects our commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at women and children in Jordan. Our continued sponsorship of activities at the Children's Museum contributes to increasing children's awareness of financial literacy. Meanwhile, our support for the Jordan River Foundation reinforces our commitment to the United Nations principles regarding women's empowerment, demonstrating our belief that women's success enhances the success of our society as a whole."
In response, Mr. Basem Saad, CEO of the Queen Rania Foundation, stated: "The Queen Rania Foundation appreciates the efforts of Jordan Ahli Bank in empowering women and enhancing financial literacy among children in Jordan. The bank's continued support for community and educational initiatives underscores the importance of partnerships with private sector institutions in improving education and development in Jordan, thereby achieving social development goals in the country. We always look forward to continuing our collaborative work and strengthening such partnerships with the private sector to enhance opportunities for learning and development in Jordan."
