Amman, Jordan: As part of its interest in the education sector and its social responsibility objectives that view education as the basis for sustainable development, Bank ABC in Jordan continued to support the Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development (QRF), by supporting Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans and “My Child’s First Years” program, which is a parental education training program offered by QRF.
This support is driven by the Bank’s belief in the outstanding efforts of QRF in the field of education and development through its programs that aim to advance children and young people in Jordan and equip them with better knowledge, skills and values that enable them to excel and stand out. To achieve this, the Bank provided scholarships to orphans to complete their higher education, in addition to supporting QRF’s “My Child’s First Years” program, which provides training for parents in the first five years of their children’s lives, to help improve parents’ practices to enhance their children’s education and development.
About this support, Mr. George Farah Sofia, the General Manager of Bank ABC in Jordan, said “we appreciate the efforts exerted by the Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development to improve education outcomes in Jordan and the Arab world, and we stress the importance of education in the advancement and prosperity of societies as we continue to increase the Bank’s contribution to the sustainable development of our community.”
