The Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development (QRF) aims to be the principal regional resource and incubator for new and innovative ideas and initiatives in education. Through research, program development, monitoring and impact evaluation, the QRF is leading the efforts to reform policy and practice in education, for both Jordanians and the large number of refugee children in Jordan. Our overarching goal is to improve opportunities for children and youth and to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and values that will empower them to excel in a fast-paced and competitive world.

  • About the Department:

QRF is looking for an experienced Strategic Partnership Senior Officer (Operations) to create and implement systems and process that fulfills the team’s essential functions to: coordinate relationship management (notably with affiliations and QRF’s program team); ensure financial credibility; provide accurate reporting for analysis and assessment; provide the tools to cultivate relationships; and proactively manage our portfolio of donors.Applicants should be excited about developing and implementing plans to improve our donor relations. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in an operations role, ideally within the non-profit sector or related fields.

  • Outline of the core responsibilities of the position:

Administration

  • Manage the CRM and provide regular reports
  • Provide training on the CRM system
  • Ensure all strategies, budgets, policies and procedures relating to the department are regularly reviewed and updated
  • Analyze affiliations’ data in order to prepare donor reports
  • Liaise with finance to ensure the accurate recording and reconciliation of all donations
  • Provide timely receipts and thank you letters for all donations
  • Prepare data for mass communications and update the CRM with mass communication activity

 Donor relations

  • Produce donor profiles and research in preparation for donor cultivation activity
  • Develop and implement a donor relations program to include materials, reports, events and recognition.
  • Develop and implement annual donor relations events
  • Undertake any tasks that are relevant to the Strategic Partnerships team or those requested by the Director

 

  • Primary Responsabilities: 

 Administration

  • Ensure team members are accurately recording communications and activities in the CRM stytem and provide regular reports. For example, monthly donation and donor reports.
  • Review our current CRM system and along with the Director and Deputy CEO, identify potential CRM vendors and make a recommendation for the next stage of CRM development.
  • Once a vendor has been secured, work with the Director and Vendor to map out our use-age, the requirements of the new system and how we will migrate data from one to the other.
  • Oversee the transition between databases.
  • Provide training on the new CRM system.
  • With the Director, review the recommendations from the Prince’s Trust and prioritise and revise the appropriate policies and procedures.
  • With the Director ensure all strategies, budgets, plans relating to the department are regularly reviewed and updated.
  • Liaise with affiliations’ to collect data and analyze the information in order to prepare donor reports.
  • Liaise with finance to ensure the accurate recording and reconciliation of all donations.
  • Provide timely receipts and thank you letters for all donations.
  • Work with the Communications team to provide data for mass communications and update the CRM with mass communication activity.

 Donor relations

  • In preparation for donor events, meetings or other activity, produce donor profiles and research.
  • Develop and implement a donor relations program to include materials, reports, events and recognition.

  • Undertake any tasks that are relevant to the Strategic Partnerships team or those requested by the Director
