Research and Program Development Senior Officer

The Research and Program Development Department functions include:

  • To undertake research and strategic analysis on new programs and current initiatives affiliated to Her Majesty Queen Rania
  • To support the Office of Her Majesty Queen Rania with program and policy research

To provide technical and logistical support to the Evidence-Driven Results in Learning (EDRiL) Applied Research ProjectThe main research and program areas include parental awareness at the early years, school leadership and culture, technology and online learning, curriculum and assessment, pedagogy, and teacher professional development and recognition.  Job Duties and Responsibilities: Primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the creation of meeting agendas, presentations, background briefs as part of the technical and logistical support to the EDRiL Steering Committee\
  • Contribute to the creation of progress and financial reports for the DFID-funded (EDRiL) Applied Research Project

Secondary duties and responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the creation of research reports and briefing notes through secondary research
  • Liaise with other QRF departments as needed (especially IEM, strategy, communications) as well as with the Office of HM Queen Rania
  • Contribute to new program development work (concept notes, feasibility studies, project documents etc)
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Academic Qualifications:BA in relevant field.Experience Required:Up to 3 years experience in project management, preferably in managing external donor-funded projects.Languages: Excellent command of written and spoken Arabic and English.Competencies:
